You will need to install the following
· Virtualbox
You can install it by going to https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads and clicking on "Windows Host"
After installing you will need to download the Windows iso file.
Go to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows11 to download the image or the media creation tool. Either way will work
After installing windows on the Virtual Machine you will want to click on “ctrl” “shift” “F3” to open Audit mode when at the OOBE.
In audit mode you can install apps you want to customize this image with but do not install antivirus.
Troubleshooting note: prior to doing sysprep for image capture you will need to make sure the hard drive is not encrypted by bitLocker.
You can do this by opening command prompt by typing cmd. (Open command prompt as administrator)
In the command prompt type in “manage-bde –status” it will display if the drive is encrypted. It is is “manage-bde –off”
Then you will be able to sys prep.
More screen shots to come.
